About us
Welcome to our Salado coffee shop, where history, flavor, and community come together.
The Shop
Located in the beautifully restored historic Davis House, we take pride in showcasing Salado’s rich history while offering a warm and inviting atmosphere for locals and visitors alike.
From the moment you step inside the door, you’re greeted by the aroma of freshly brewed coffee and the sight of our pastry case filled with a tempting array of homemade treats. Whether you’re in the mood for a classic espresso, a creamy latte, or a refreshing iced coffee, our skilled baristas will craft the perfect beverage to start your day off right.
If you’re looking for something a bit stronger, we also offer a variety of cocktails, including a popular Old fashioned or a smooth Espresso Martini that is sure to please.
And for those who come hungry, we have a selection of toasted sandwiches and pastries that will leave you feeling satisfied and energized. Whether you’re in the mood for a savory breakfast sandwich or a sweet and flaky croissant, our made-to-order options will not disappoint.
Our commitment to community is evident in the way we strive to create an environment that fosters connection and celebration. Our outdoor seating area is the perfect place to gather with friends and family, enjoy a cup of coffee, and take in our live music events and other special occasions.
The Owners
Greenfield’s is owned by Jessica (Lynn) Greenfield and managed by her brother William (Buck) Greenfield.
Lynn and her Family Moved to Salado After her Mother Jessica’s passing. She and her family, native to Mcallen, Texas, chose this Treasured town as it was her mother’s Favorite Vacation spot. As they had all spent many memorable summers here, they very quickly felt at home.
Lynn was Originally a Middle School Drama Teacher Before having her son Hayden 11 years ago. With help from her father and brother, she finally was in a place to achieve her lifelong goal of owning her own coffee shop, after finding the perfect spot in her much-loved town.
With the help of her family and friends, they transformed the building into what it is today, the iconic cozy coffee shop, enjoyed by many.
